Kimono dress is the combination of traditional Japanese clothing and western fashion and is not really a dress in the western style today. This is the style inspired by traditional Japanese clothing such as kimono and yukata.

Seemingly, kimono dress looks like a style of shortened kimonos worn by kids in old Japan, but was rediscovered by the western people as a comfortable exotic casual style mainly for the warm seasons. Today, as the Japanese fashion has been warmly embraced in the world, kimono dress is very popular to fashionable young women and is sophisticated by the people who love the Japanese inspired looks.
